Bangladesh Football Federation(BFF) general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag said that Bangladesh national team captain Jamal Bhuyan’s incident of kicking the referee during a Bangladesh Premier League match will be undergone a forensic investigation.
'Even though the referee stated it in his report, the allegation of Jamal Bhuiyan kicking the referee has not been proven,' added Abu Nayeem Shohag at the BFF House on Wednesday.
‘The disciplinary committee has asked to have a forensic investigation on the Jamal Bhuiyan issue and mentioned that it will take the decision on the basis of the result of the report.’
The BFF GS general secretary also informed that Jamal’s club Saif Sporting Club have been fined by Tk 50,000 following their players’ misconduct with the referee during their BPL match against Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra in Munshiganj while Saif Sporting Club's event manager was also fined a Tk 25,000 for using offensive language towards the referee.
