Canadian University of Bangladesh in collaboration with Better Bangladesh Foundation celebrated International Mother Language Day in its auditorium at Pragati Sarani, Dhaka on Monday afternoon February 22, 2022.
Charles Whiteley, Head of Delegation and the Ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh attended the program as the Chief Guest while Dr. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Canadian University of Bangladesh chaired the program. Professor Masud A Khan, founder of Better Bangladesh Foundation was present in the program as the Special Guest.
Among others, Chowdhury Raheeb Safwan Sarafat, Member, Board of Trustees, Prof. Mohammed A Arafat, Chief Adviser, Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. HM Jahirul Haque, Senior Adviser, Board of Trustees, Prof. ASM Sirajul Haque, Treasurer, Deans of Schools and all Heads of the departments of Canadian University of Bangladesh, Chris Hansen, Headmaster of Haileybury Bhaluka and Wendy Hansen, Director of Stakeholder Relationships ofHaileybury Bhaluka were present in the program. Faculty members of different departments, senior officers from different sections, students of all departments also took part in the program.
Finally, Dr. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat thanked Charles Whiteley for visiting Canadian University of Bangladesh and he expressed that the bilateral relationship and cooperation between European Union and Canadian University of Bangladesh will continue for the greater interests.
