Since morning, the sky over Dhaka has remained partially cloudy. As of 11 AM on Friday, the sun was yet to be seen.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light drizzles in Dhaka and three other divisions, as well as two specific regions, within the next 24 hours.
Additionally, the department has warned that dense fog from midnight to morning may disrupt air travel, inland waterway transportation, and road communication.
Rain and fog forecast
According to the weather forecast, light rain or drizzles may occur in some areas of Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, as well as in the Noakhali and Comilla regions. However, the weather in other parts of the country is expected to remain mostly dry, with temporarily partly cloudy skies.
Regarding fog, the forecast states that moderate to dense fog may develop in some parts of the country from midnight to morning, with certain areas experiencing fog until noon. As a result, disruptions in air, water, and road transport are likely.
Temperature Outlook
The temperature forecast indicates that nighttime temperatures may slightly decrease in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, as well as in Tangail and Kishoreganj districts. However, temperatures in other parts of the country may rise slightly.
