Minimum fitrah set at Tk 110

The rate of Fitrah in Bangladesh this year has been set at a minimum of 110 Taka per person and a maximum of 2,805 Taka. Last year (2024), the minimum Fitrah was 115 Taka, while the maximum was 2,970 Taka.

On Tuesday, the National Sadaqatul Fitr Determination Committee set this rate for the Islamic year 1446 Hijri in a meeting held at the conference room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by the committee's chairman, Mufti Maulana Abdul Malek, who is also the Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

Members of the Fitrah determination committee and prominent Islamic scholars were present at the meeting. After the meeting, the committee chairman announced the Fitrah rates to journalists.
