The entire country is eagerly awaiting the celebration of the 55th Independence Day. On Wednesday (March 26), the National Memorial will see a flood of people coming to pay their respects.
The altar will be adorned with flowers in tribute and love. As always, after completing cleanliness and beautification tasks, the National Memorial is fully prepared for the occasion.
All preparations have been completed, and multiple layers of security have been put in place. The beautification of the memorial has also been finished to mark the day with appropriate honor.
On Tuesday morning, Mizanur Rahman, the in-charge of the National Memorial and Assistant Engineer of the Savar Public Works Department, confirmed the preparations.
Mizanur Rahman said, "We have completed all activities, including the installation of CCTV cameras. The National Memorial is fully prepared."
All rehearsals for the state ceremony have been completed, and the entire area is now under CCTV surveillance. In addition to heightened security measures, intelligence monitoring has also been increased, according to the administration.
Dhaka Police Superintendent Mohammad Anisuzzaman added, "We will provide full security to the two main platforms. All those on duty are well-trained."
After the President, Chief Adviser, Advisory Council members, and foreign diplomats pay their respects, the memorial will be opened to the public.
