There is a possibility of sighting the moon in Bangladesh this evening. If confirmed, Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed tomorrow (March 31). The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet in the evening at the Islamic Foundation’s conference room.
Dr. A.F.M. Khalid Hossain, the religious affairs advisor, will preside over the meeting at Baitul Mukarram.
The Islamic Foundation shared this information in a press release on Saturday (March 29). The statement urged people to report moon sightings to the following phone or fax numbers or inform the respective district or upazila administration.
