38 innovators honoured in Bangladesh Innovation Award

The 4th Bangladesh Innovation Award has recognised 38 innovators of the country following 18 winners and 20 honourable mentions.

Besides, the auspicious gala also honoured Sajeeb Wazed Joy, ICT Affairs Adviser to the premier, with the Nation Brand Award for his outstanding contribution in Building and Turning Digital Bangladesh into a reality, said a press release.

Bangladesh Innovation Conclave (BIC) has organised the biggest innovation festival the second edition of “Bangladesh Innovation Fest” under the theme “For an Innovative Bangladesh.”

One of the biggest components of the fest was the highly anticipated ‘4th Bangladesh Innovation Award 2022 – Celebrating the Best of Innovation’ which took place on Sunday at the Le Meredien Dhaka, said a press release.

The event was preceded by the ’3rd edition of ‘Bangladesh Business Innovation Summit 2022’ which took place virtually from 4th-6th March.

More than 250 nominations were submitted.

Mustafa Osman Turan, Ambassador, Embassy of Turkey to Bangladesh was the Guest of Honor. 

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister, ICT Division, and Atiqul Islam, Mayor, Dhaka North City Corporation joined the event as the special guests.

The 3-day virtual Summit hosted 9 keynote sessions by Global and local Experts, 3 panel discussions, 3 insight sessions and 1 policy dialogue.
