The Road Transport and Highways Division has announced a temporary suspension of vehicular movement from Khilkhet towards Kuril and Bashundhara due to utility relocation work for the MRT Line-1 project.
According to a Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) notice issued on Thursday, traffic on this route will remain suspended from 7pm on Thursday (April 17) to 12am on Friday (April 18), UNB reports.
As a key diversion, vehicles are advised to take a U-turn in front of Radisson Hotel and use the Kuril Flyover or other suitable roads to reach their destinations.
