The return date of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who is currently undergoing medical treatment in London, UK, has been postponed by one day. Instead of May 5, she will now return to the country on May 6 (Tuesday).
BNP’s media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan informed the media of this around 11:45 PM on Saturday (May 3).
Shayrul Kabir Khan shared this update under the direction of Khaleda Zia’s physician and BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, as well as BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Earlier, on Saturday evening, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told the media that Khaleda Zia would return to Dhaka from London in a special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar.
Before that, it was planned that the BNP Chairperson would return to the country on a regular Bangladesh Airlines flight.
