Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has arrived in Dhaka by a special flight from Mumbai, India on Saturday.
According to an airport official, ‘The actress and seven others arrived in Dhaka by a special flight VTTRI from Mumbai, India at 3:30pm on Saturday to attend a wedding ceremony.’
The actress shared photos of her arrival in Bangladesh on social media.
“So happy to be in this beautiful country! #bangledesh #dhaka #partytime,” she captioned one of the photos.
In another photo with her husband Daniel Weber, she wrote: “Time to have some fun with family in Dhaka!”
Kushik Hossain Taposh, CEO of Gaan Bangla TV was also with her.
Sunny Leone was denied entry to Bangladesh for attending the shooting of the film ‘Soldier’ scheduled to be directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni.
Earlier on Thursday, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had issued a notification revoking her work permit citing unavoidable reasons.
Information Minister Hasan Mahmud on Friday said her visa was cancelled, because she used an American passport to “hide her identity”.
Karenjit Kaur Vohra, better known by her stage name 'Sunny Leone', is an Indian Canadian actress and model, and former pornstar, also possessing American citizenship.
The 40-year old actress is scheduled to leave Bangladesh today, said the airport official.
