After the intense Nor'wester storms and heavy thunderstorms, a powerful heatwave is once again heading towards Bangladesh.
The duration is expected from May 8 to beyond May 15, according to Bangladesh Weather Observation Team.
This heatwave is predicted to impact various areas of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, and Barisal divisions.
The most affected regions are likely to be the districts of Rajshahi and Khulna, where temperatures may exceed 40°C in some areas.
Meanwhile, the districts in Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Chattogram divisions are expected to remain unaffected, although they may experience intense humidity.
During the heatwave, the chances of rain across the country are low. However, there remains a possibility of sudden thunderstorms with rain in some areas. If such possibilities arise, updates will be provided, Inshallah.
After this heatwave subsides, another powerful Nor'wester storm, along with thunderstorms, may become active over the country.
