The Weather Department has issued a thunderstorm warning. According to the warning, from 8:30 AM on Monday (May 12) to the next 1–4 hours, various districts of the country may experience temporary gusty or squally winds along with rain, thunderstorms, and lightning.
The warning mentioned that the gusty or squally winds may reach speeds of 45–60 km/h or even more.
The districts mentioned in the warning are Rajshahi, Natore, Pabna, Sirajganj, Tangail, Manikganj, Dhaka, Narsingdi, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Sherpur, Netrokona, Mymensingh, Sunamganj, Kishoreganj, Brahmanbaria, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Sylhet, Rangamati, and Bandarban.
The warning also includes some precautionary measures during thunderstorms:

Stay indoors during thunderstorms.

Avoid traveling if possible.

Take shelter in a safe place.

Do not take shelter under trees.

Avoid lying on concrete floors or leaning against concrete walls.

Unplug electrical and electronic devices.

Immediately move away from water bodies.
