Assuming June 7 as the date of Eid-ul-Azha, Bangladesh Railway has begun advance ticket sales for holiday travel. Tickets for the second day of Eid journeys (June 1) go on sale today.

For the convenience of the passengers, all the tickets will be sold online.

On Thursday, May 22, ticket sales for trains operating in the western region of Bangladesh Railway will start at 8 AM, while ticket sales for the eastern region trains will begin at 2 PM.

This year, only intercity trains departing from Dhaka to various destinations across the country will have a total of 33,315 seats available. This information was revealed in the special Eid operational plan prepared by Bangladesh Railway.

According to the plan, tickets for May 31 were sold on May 21. Tickets for June 2 will be sold on May 23; for June 3 on May 24; for June 4 on May 25; for June 5 on May 26; and for June 6 on May 27.

As per the railway's decision, tickets for seven days prior to Eid will be sold in advance under a special arrangement. These tickets cannot be refunded. Each person can purchase up to four tickets at a time.
