What does it achieve?
It builds a community to empower women to take up space, lead with confidence and truly thrive at Cannes. More women’s stories are told with real impact not just on the film industry but on women’s live all over the world.
Since launching the movement in 2018 at Cannes this is the biggest presence in 2025.
All of the different events in 2025 have helped to create more opportunities for women to build meaningful, lasting connections during the festival. Among the new measures was the first official event within the Marché du Film to emplify to women’s voices and celebrate their successes.!
For the Cannes Film Festival of next year (2026) the first ever Women’s hub is planned, a space where women and underrepresented voices can relax, connect and learn.
The organisation is seeking collaborators, sponsors and panelists. The work will begin a great “yes she Cannes” in 2026.
