“I am overwhelmed to be awarded with the prestigious Filmfare award for the third time. The black lady has again come to me for being the winner in the best actress popular choice category for the film Binisutoy. Thanks to the audience and Filmfare authority for giving me this kind of love and encouragement. My director Atanu Ghosh's dreamy creation is indeed being celebrated with this achievement. Congratulations to the entire team of 'Binisutoy' for also achieving the titles of 'Best Film and director (Critics')' and Best Editing. May the unspoken untouched bond of Binisutoy lingers in our life forever,” she stated.

In ‘Binisutoy’, Jaya is deceptively wicked, shape-shifting as the film turns her into a woman who is wholly human and completely mysterious.
