Biman Bangladesh Airlines has issued an urgent message for Hajj pilgrims. The airline has advised all pilgrims to contact its sales centers in Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet for all matters related to their return journey and related services. In case of emergencies, they may also contact the airline’s offices in Jeddah or Madinah.
In a press release on Wednesday (June 11), Biman stated that, as in previous years, temporary offices are usually set up in Makkah and Madinah to ensure smooth and uninterrupted return flights for pilgrims. Accordingly, Biman has completed preparations to set up such temporary offices again this year.
However, the statement noted that Saudi Arabia has recently imposed a temporary visa restriction for citizens of 14 countries, including Bangladesh. As a result, despite completing all visa formalities, Biman staff have not yet been able to enter the country to assist pilgrims.
To ensure the smooth handling of ticket changes and other return travel services, Biman has requested Hajj agencies and representatives to contact the following offices during working hours:
