State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak is set to make a star appearance in "Freelancer Nadia," a teledrama featured in Bongo Bob season 2.

He will make a guest appearance in the teledrama to portray an important social message to spread awareness among the mass.

The highly anticipated sequel of Bongo Bob will feature 7 teledramas, adapted from the novel by journalist Rahitul Islam.

'Freelancer Nadia' features a young independent woman, mastering the knowledge of ICT, working as a freelancer to bring economic solvency in her family. But her skills and strength are tested when her family faces greater tragedy.

Directed by Imraul Rafat, the teledrama will feature Mehazbien Chowdhury in the lead role.

The real-life ICT Minister Palak will star as an ICT Minister in the telefiction.

"While I speak with young women during my visits to rural areas, I find that most of them live under the shadows of their families, in-laws or husbands. However, they aspire to learn digital skills and work in local and global markets to earn a handsome amount and get better opportunities," said Zunaid Ahmed Palak.

He spoke further, "Rahitul offers an exceptional example of a fighter's journey, showcasing the transformation of traditional Bangladesh to Digital Bangladesh that we dream of, which is very inspiring."

Bongo’s Chief Content Officer Mushfiqur Rahman said, “Literature brings the stories that reflect our lives. So, we have long wanted to work on life-oriented Literature outside of the traditional genre. With that goal in mind, we are back again with Bongo Bob Season 2. I would also like to express my gratitude to the Honourable Minister of ICT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak Bhai, for his continuous support and encouragement.
