The operations of the Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Dhaka, which had been temporarily suspended due to security concerns, have resumed as normal.
The Indian High Commission said the visa center reopened on Thursday (18 December) morning.
Earlier, on Wednesday, a platform of several organizations linked to the July mass uprising, under the banner of “July Unity,” announced a program titled “March to the Indian High Commission” in Dhaka.
In view of the program and the prevailing security situation, the operations of the Indian Visa Center were suspended from 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
