Due to security concerns, the Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Chattogram has been declared closed. The Indian Assistant High Commission announced that all operations of the center will remain suspended from Sunday (21 December) until further notice.
The information was confirmed in a statement published on Sunday on the official website of the Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC).
The statement said that the decision to temporarily close the Chattogram IVAC was taken in view of the current security situation.
It also added that new dates will be announced later for applicants who had scheduled visa appointments.
