The feeling of winter in the capital has increased compared to before. The temperature this morning has dropped to 12°C.

On Sunday (January 4), the Bangladesh Meteorological Department's Storm Warning Center issued a weather forecast for Dhaka and the nearby areas from 7 AM for the next six hours.

The forecast states that the sky may remain temporarily cloudy in the first half of the day, with the weather mostly dry. However, light to moderate fog may be observed. During this time, winds may blow from the north or northwest at a speed of 5 to 12 kilometers per hour. The daytime temperature is expected to increase slightly.

According to the forecast, the temperature in Dhaka at 6 AM was recorded at 12.5°C. At the same time, the humidity level was 97%. The maximum temperature in Dhaka yesterday was 21°C. The minimum temperature recorded today was 12.3°C.

Additionally, today the sunset in Dhaka will be at 5:25 PM, and tomorrow the sunrise will be at 6:42 AM. The Meteorological Department has reported that no rainfall was recorded in Dhaka over the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, in a possible forecast released by the Meteorological Department last night, it was mentioned that the weather across the country is likely to remain mainly dry until 6 PM today. The sky may be temporarily partly cloudy. However, from midnight until the morning, moderate to dense fog may form in various areas of the country, which could persist until noon in some places.

Furthermore, due to the dense fog, air travel, inland water transport, and road communications may be temporarily disrupted.
