Bangladesh has appointed all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as Test captain, removing Mominul Haque.
Shakib Al Hasan has been named as the captain of the Test squad of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. Besides, Liton Das has been named as the co-captain of the Test squad.
Mominul's place as a captain came under heavy criticism after the series loss and the left-hander said that he felt he wasn't able to contribute and it was better for the team to have a new leader.
