Former Australian women’s cricketer Lisa Stalker has been named the new president of the Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations(FICA).
She is the first woman to become FICA president. The 42-year-old Lisa Stalker has been named chairman of the FICA executive committee conference in Neon, Switzerland. Prior to Stalker, Barry Richards, Jimmy Adams and Vikram Solanki have served as FICA presidents.
Born in India, Lisa Sthalekar has achieved a lot by playing cricket for Australia. She has scored 2728 runs and taken 146 wickets in 125 ODIs with the help of two centuries and 16 half-centuries while she has taken 60 wickets for 769 runs in 54 T20 matches. Lisa has also played 8 Tests in which she has scored 416 runs with 1 century and taken 23 wickets.
