Bollywood actor Aamir Khan gets emotional as he recalls his childhood days when his family was in debt and he faced difficulties in school.
In a recent interview, Aamir talked about how he and his siblings would be late in paying their school fees. He also added that the principal would announce the names in the school assembly after giving them a warning or two.
Aamir is the eldest son of producer Tahir Hussain. He has four siblings-Faisal Khan, Farhat Khan and Nikhat Khan and Aamir is the eldest of them all.
The actor said there was a time when his family was in debt. At that time, it was always late to pay her fees to her and her siblings. His headmaster also used to announce his name to the school assembly and give a day or two’s warning.
As per reports, he explained how during his school days, the fee structure was Rs 6 for the 6th standard, Rs 7 for the 7th standard, Rs 8 for the 8th standard, and so forth.
But due to his family debt, Aamir and his siblings 'were always late to pay their fees', with the school principal then letting everyone know about it in front of the entire school.
It is reported that Aamir literally had tears in his eyes when he spoke about this incident.
However, while there were lows, there were highs as well, as Aamir started his Bollywood career as a child by starring in the 1973 film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973).
Then, the actor broke into Bollywood by bagging his first lead role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988).
Aamir Khan is currently one of the most successful stars in Bollywood. His upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha is set to release this week on August 11, 2022.
