Popular Dhallywood actress Pori Moni gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday evening at Evercare hospital in Dhaka.
Porimani's husband actor Shariful Raj confirmed the information. He said the mother and child are fine.
"Alhamdulillah! I've become father. I can't express my feelings in words. Only they know who become parents. Both mother and child are well. Please pray for them," said Shariful Raj.
The name of the child is Shaheem Muhammad Rajya. This is the first child of Pori Moni and Shoriful Raj.
Pori Moni fixed the name before the child was born. At the beginning of this year the actress said that if she has a daughter, she will be named Rani, and if she has a son, she will be named Raja.
Both the mother and the newborn child are now healthy.
Shoriful Raj and Pori Moni met and fell in love with each other on the sets of the film 'Guneen' produced by Giyas Uddin Selim. They tied the knot on October 17, 2021.
