Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon win big at Filmfare Awards 2022

The 67th Filmfare award took place on August 30 and awarded some of the most talented artists in the Hindi film industry. Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh took home the Best Actors award while Sidharth Malhotra’s Shershaah and Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham also won big.

Vicky Kaushal and Vidya Balan won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards in the Critics category, for their performances in Sardar Udham and Sherni, respectively.

Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Male) award for his cricket drama '83', while Kriti Sanon was honoured for her performance in 'Mimi', which was released in 2021.

‘Shershaah’ received the Best Action and Best Editing Awards at the Filmfare, while Sardar Udham won Best Film (Critics’). ‘Shershaah’ also bagged the highest number of nominations.

Vishnuvardhan took home the Best Director Award, and Subhash Ghai was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

B Praak receives Best Playback (male) Singer award for 'Mann Bharrya' and 'Shershaah' and  Asees Kaur receives best playback singer (female) for 'Raataan lambiyan' and 'Shershaah'.
