Nargis Fakhri exposes the dark side of Bollywood

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri has been away from the film industry for a long time. During a recent media interaction, Nargis Fakhri has opened up about her depression with the industry. The actress says she would never forgive the industry for making her land in such a situation.

The 41-year-old actress ventured into Bollywood opposite Ranbir Kapoor in film Rockstar in 2011. After this she was also seen in films like Madras Cafe, ‘Housefull 3’. She has also worked in Hollywood through ‘Spy’, but after so much success she suddenly disappeared from the film industry. 

Nargis Fakhri recently told during an interview that she was not happy with the industry. According to her, ‘People have three faces. One business face, one creative face and one personal face’.

She told to Masala in an interview that she worked hard every day for eight years and she hardly got any time to be with her family. She felt sick due to the stress and because of the same developed health issues related to the same. 

She was unhappy and asked herself ‘why am I here’. Nargis took a break of two years due to her health. After that, she practiced Vipassana meditation in the US.

The actress accepted the fact of being naive and pretended in front of people of being fine. Lack of addiction to fame or adulation also led to her exhaustion. She was unhappy in her situation and was questioning why was she even doing movies. 

Nargis also revealed that being honest costs her a price. She was told that as she was vocal about how she felt it was not a nice thing for her. She was told to interact with people even with whom she was not comfortable. 

On the work front, the actress is also known for being a part of the Hollywood movie Spy opposite Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham and Jude Law. She will also be seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu by Pawan Kalyan.
