Zimbabwe started well on the big stage with an easy win over Ireland in the T20 World Cup tournament in Hobart on Monday.

Zimbabwe were in early trouble on 39 for 3 inside the first six overs but had soon recovered to 79 for 4 at the halfway stage. Sikandar Raza took the reins from there on, and powered his way to his sixth T20I half-century.

Raza knocked a brilliant 82 of just 48 balls. Not only with the bat but also he took a wicket as a bowler. His all-round performance along with the extraordinary efforts from his other teammates helped Zimbabwe to win over Ireland.
