Meta-owned WhatsApp went down on Tuesday across the globe, including Bangladesh and India, as multiple users reported they cannot access the messaging service or get a single tick even for delivered messages.
Outage detection website DownDetector too confirmed that the messaging platform is not working for thousands of users.
WhatsApp’s parent company Meta has said that it is aware about the issue and is working on restoring services for everyone.
According to Down Detector, over 85 per cent of people reported problems while messaging, 11 per cent while using the app, and 3 per cent while using the website.
