Liton's stunning fifty could not save Tigers

It was a dramatic win for India as they secured only a 5-run win against Bangladesh in the 35th match of Group 2 in T20 World Cup on Wednesday (November 2). It was a very close match.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first. India batted first and scored 184 for 6.

Bangladesh started their innings brilliantly until rain interrupted the match. Bangladesh was 66 for no loss after seven overs. Liton Das hit a brilliant fifty in just 21 balls. It was unfortunate for Liton Das and Bangladesh as he was run out at 60 of 27 balls. Bangladesh started again after the rain and started playing with a target of 151 in 16 overs according to D/L method. Bangladesh's innings ended at 145 for 6 in 16 overs.

Virat Kohli became the Player of the Match as he knocked 66 runs not out of 44 balls.
