BTS bags multiple Grammy 2023 nominations

The South Korean boy band Bangtan Sonyeondan aka BTS created record by becoming the first K-pop sensations to have been nominated in more than one Grammy category in any given year.

This year, the band was nominated for the best pop duo or group performance for "My Universe," along with British rock band Coldplay, and best music video for "Yet to Come," during the official Grammy nomination ceremony livestreamed by the U.S. Recording Academy on Tuesday. Apart from this, RM, Suga, and J-Hope have also been credited as songwriters for the track and are now Grammy-nominated songwriters. 

The band has managed to gain mass popularity over the years consists of seven members including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V. The K-pop boy band enjoys one of the biggest fan bases in the world and has broken several musical records with their tracks.

BTS was previously nominated for their tracks for 'Butter' (2021) and 'Dynamite'  (2020), both in the English language.
