Law enforcers nabbed a former MP of Rajshahi-5 constituency and BNP's central leader Nadim Mostofa from his house Pathanpara area of Rajshahi on Tuesday (November 22).
Mostafizur Rahman, former president of Rajshahi district unit BNP and personal assistant of Nadim Mostofa, said, "DB police arrested him and took him to the office of the police superintendent on 12:30pm. There are three cases against Nadim Mostofa."
Spokesperson of Rakshahi district police Additional police superintendent Ifte Khayer Alam said, "Members of Detective Branch (DB) police arrested Nadim Mostofa from his house in Rajshahi. There are 8 to 10 cases against him."
"He was arrested in a case filed with Puthia Police Station against him," he added.
BNP leaders and activists are taking preparations to hold a divisional mass rally in Rajshahi on December 10.
