Mir Sabbir is one of the most popular small screen actors of the country. He has recently made an eight-minute documentary based on the struggle of Bangladeshi workers in the Middle East.
The title of the documentary is 'Remittance Joddha'. The story, script and dialogues of the documentary were written by Mir Sabbir himself.
The versatile actor informed that he has already completed making of this documentary.
"As an actor, I participate in various social activities as I find it my responsibility. Not just the participation but I also contribute to those events. I think as an artiste, we can work for people in need in various ways. We should not only voice for them through our performance but also should interact with them directly and stand by their side," said Sabbir.
"'Remittance Joddha' is about those people who face various difficulties including complications with passports and visas along with medical issues while going abroad, especially in the Middle East, searching for work. Overall, while making this documentary I saw a different world, which I did not know before. So, I think everybody should watch this documentary for single time because any family or its member cannot face any problem while going abroad", he added.
Sabbir made his television debut in 1999 with his performance in a drama titled ‘Putro’.
