Sylhet Strikers have been continuing its domination in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as they ensured their third win in a row in the tournament. Sylhet Strikers won by 5 wickets against Comilla Victorians in the fifth match of the tourney at Mirpur in Dhaka on Monday.
Mashrafe Mortaza's Sylhet Strikers won the toss and elected to field first. Comilla Victorians scored 149 for 6 after 20 overs. Jaker Ali from Comilla Victorians knocked a brilliant 57 of just 43 balls.
Thisara Perera and Mohammad Amir picked up a couple of wickets each for Sylhet Strikers.
Sylhet Strikers batters started their batting for the target of 150 and they secured the win in just 17.4 overs with ease. Towhid Hridoy scored 56 of 37 balls with a strike rate of 151.35. Besides, Mushfiqur Rahim scored a decent 28 of 25 balls not out.
