Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is finally back on the big screen with his comeback venture Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. However, according to recent sources, the release of King Khan's recent movie may apparently be delayed in Bangladesh.
The much awaited movie released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language in India on January 25. It is reported that ‘Pathan’ first day gross collection is 50 crores and net collection is 40-45 crores. Talking about advance booking of tickets, advance booking of 10,81,091 tickets across all languages took place on the opening day.
The film cannot be shown in Bangladesh during its world premiere due to laws under the South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) Treaty, reports the Daily Star. For this, the Information Ministry will have to consult with the Commerce Ministry before approving its import to Bangladesh.
