Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra tied the knot on February 7. The pair have been dropping images from the wedding celebrations every now and then.
On February 21, the couple released photos on Instagram and this time from their sangeet ceremony. For the special night, Kiara opted a golden lehenga while Siddharth was seen in a black kurta and white pyjama that he teamed up with a printed jacket. In the pictures from the pre-wedding ceremony, Kiara and Sidharth were seen head-over-heels in love with each other as they danced through the night.
Posting the pictures, the actors wrote–”Something about that night.. something really special.”
As usual, the couple trusted their designer friend–Manish Malhotra to doll them up for the special eve. From sequins to feathered trims, Kiara chose to sparkle in gold for her special day. Made over 4,000 hours, the lehenga was crafted with 98,000 sparkling Swarovski crystals and a cut-work hemline. Adding to the glamour was a marabou feather detailing, bordering her wrist. The custom-made design transitioned from gold handwork to striking silver crystals, throughout the skirt and handcrafted sleeves.
Kiara chose a well-seated plunging neckline for her haute couture blouse, to happily display her Manish Malhotra neckpiece. Like her reception look, the neckpiece sans earpieces was put in the spotlight. The string necklace featured natural diamonds and a magnificent ruby pendant taking the centre seat. The striking colour contrast in the play was infused by the shades red, and her gold couture lehenga. For hair, the actress said yes to romantic curls, and subtle dewy makeup, that worked well with her bridal glow.
After their Jaisalmer wedding, the newlyweds celebrated with a small gathering of family and friends in Delhi and then throw a grand reception party in Mumbai for their Bollywood acquaintances.
The reception was held at St Regis Hotel in south Mumbai. B-town celebrities Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Bhumi Pednekar, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Ishaan Khatter, Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh attended the reception.
