Praise has been poured by the Tiger fans on social media since the evening of Thursday as the Bangladesh National Cricket team played an extraordinary match against Ireland in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh dominated the whole match and ensured the series with a 10-wicket win.
Ireland won the toss and chose to bat first. They lost their all wickets at 101. Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud got six wickets in his magical spells.
Bangladesh openers Litton Das 50 not out and Tamim Iqbal 41 not out made the journey more comfortable and won the match in 13.1 overs.
Hasan Mahmud became the player of the match award for his excellent performance. He expressed his joy at a post-match media conference.
He said, “We are trying our best to play good cricket. We have been working hard. We (team members) have a good connection. I always concentrate to focus on my bowling in every format.”
Mushfiqur Rahim became the player of the match.
