Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan got the fans excited by hinting at a possible sequel to her 2009 hit film 3 Idiots . On Friday, she shared a video on her Instagram handle in which she shared her concerns about the sequel after she saw a viral photo of Aamir, Sharman and Madhavan from a press conference.
In the video, Kareena said - "I can’t believe this!! How can they do this without me? (angry face emoji) @boman_irani have they kept this a secret from you also?" In the video, Kareena can be seen talking about a photo of the '3 Idiots' in the background, where the trio of Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman are sitting in red t-shirts, with 'Idiots' written behind them.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production house, Vinod Chopra Productions, 3 Idiots was one of the top grossing movies of the year 2009. The film starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Boman Irani played a major role in changing the mindset of the audience to let their kids pursue what they want.
Boman Irani also posted a video in which he stated that they couldn't make a sequel without Virus (the character he played in the first film). A user on the internet stated that viruses should not exist in the world, but a sequel to the film without 'Virus' is not possible. Take a look:
After seeing everyone’s videos, Sharman Joshi finally decided to respond to Kareena, and commented on her post, “Yaar jab bhi kuch aisa hota hain, how am I at the centre of the problem? Aamir told R Madhavan, I was right there when he told him to. But we did miss you .. and everyone else. (tongue out emoji) ”
R Madhavan also replied to Kareena, saying, “Arre Arre, nothing like that Bebo. I’m equally shocked that Sharman Joshi did not call you, this is the ONLY thing he was asked to do.(Sic)”
The rumours about a possible sequel started last month when Sharman Joshi posted a promotional video for his film ‘Congratulations’, directed and written by Rehan Chaudhary. The actor was joined by his 3 Idiots co-stars Aamir Khan and R Madhavan, which went viral and fans all around started requesting the trio to go for a sequel.
