Is it that time of the month and you are finding it difficult to pass every single second of it?

Periods or menstrual cycles are a crucial time in a woman's life. The amount of blood that comes out of the body of women  every month through period  results in several deficiencies in the body. And to fill this gap, it is necessary to take the appropriate amount of proper food. There are also tough times that every woman has to go through during that particular time of their lives.

The symptoms usually include excessive lower abdominal pain, back pain, bloating, irritable moodiness, dizziness, acidity, nausea, and discomfort. Many also face the issue of irregular periods. Polycystic ovary syndrome (POS) is caused by irregular periods or complete cessation of periods. Therefore, keeping these problems in mind, one should take certain  foods during the period, which will keep the body completely healthy and fresh. With regular periods, the body's hormonal balance remains balanced and fine.

The foods that are highly suggested to eat during the period are:

  • Water: Drinking a lot of water is always important, and this is especially true during your period. Staying hydrated can reduce your chances of getting dehydration headaches, a common symptom of menstruation. Drinking plenty of water can also stop you from retaining water and bloating. So you should drink lots and lots of water.

 

Dark chocolate helps to boost up your mood

  • Dark Chocolate: Dark chocolate helps in refreshing and cooling the body's nervous system.  It also works on fixing up your mood, so it is best to eat during periods.

 

Green tea helps to improve your immune system

  • Green Tea: Green tea is a type of antioxidant, which enhances immunity. It also helps to reduce period pain.

 

Drinking lemon juice during period  is good for health

  • Lemon:Lemons contain vitamin C. It is good for your health to eat lemon juice or have curry with lemon during period.

 

Banana is a source of energy

  • Banana: Bananas are a great source of energy, which comes immediately after eating. The body becomes weak for a few days due to bleeding. So at this time banana is a good nutritious food.

 

Pineapple makes your period cycle regular

  • Pineapple:  Pineapples are great if you have irregular period issues.Pineapple helps to fix your menstruation cycle.

 

  • Raw Papaya: Raw papaya helps to have regular periods, and makes your flow smooth.

 

Do remember that certain foods are great to eat during your period, while others can worsen your symptoms. So try to choose and eat your food wisely during that time of the month.
