Tribute to be paid to Bangabandhu's mausoleum Jan 10

Deep homage would be paid to the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on January 10 at Tungipara under the title 'Tungipara: Fatherland in Heart' marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.  

The decision was taken at a meeting held at the office of the National Implementation Committee here, said a press release.  

Awami League presidium member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim presided over the meeting.

The chief coordinator of the committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury presented various issues about the program.  

He informed that preparations are underway to hold a function on a befitting manner and also expressed his optimism that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would present on the occasion.

his wife Shahana Yasmin, Director General of Shilpakala Academy Liaquat Ali Lucky, Dhaka Divisional Commissioner M Chief Engineer Mohammad Shamim Akhter, Director General of the Prime Minister's Office Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan, journalist Subhash Singh Roy and representatives of the Armed Forces
and senior officials of the implementation committee were present.
