Oats are rich in nutrients. Oats contain a lot of fiber and avenanthramide, which is very effective in protecting our health. Avenanthramide reduces inflammation in the arteries and helps to control blood pressure.

Oats are also rich in iron, protein, vitamin B and many more nutrients. Oats particularly contain vitamin-B, which helps the body digest carbohydrates.

Oats contain a special type of fiber called beta glucone. Which plays an important role in reducing the amount of cholesterol in the body. Eating three grams of oats a day helps reduce cholesterol by about eight to ten percent.

Keeps heart healthy:

Oats contain a special type of antioxidant that helps control the body's levels of good cholesterol (LDL). Which also reduces the risk of heart disease.

Keeps blood pressure in control:

Having oats regularly reduces the risk of hypertension due to excess stress or anxiety.

Boosts immunity:

Beta-glucan present in oats boosts the body's immune system. Oats also help prevent bacterial infections in the body.

Controls Diabetes:

Diabetic patients can also include oats to their diet.As it is low calorie and sugar free, diabetic patients can easily have it for breakfast.

Oats are great for those who suffer from constipation or indigestion. Because the fiber present in it eliminates constipation. Oats are also good for the liver.

To lose weight:

Stomach feels full for a long time after eating oats. As a result, you do not feel hungry.  This is because of the binding of glucone and peptides in it. These two components are the hormones that controls the appetite.
