Indian choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva has become a father once again, as he recently welcomed a baby girl with his second wife, Himani Singh.
The 50-year-old star, who tied the knot with Mumbai-based physiotherapist Himani in 2020, is overjoyed by the arrival of their daughter. This is his first child with Himani, and he already has three sons from his previous marriage.
The filmmaker confirmed the news with ETimes and said, “Yes! It is true. I am a father again at this age (50). I feel very happy and complete.”
He also shared that he has cut down on his workload “I have already cut down on my workload. I felt I was doing too much work, just running around… I am done with that. I want to spend some time with my family,” the actor was quoted as saying by Etimes.
The two met when Prabhudeva was undergoing treatment from Dr Himani for his back and legs, as per a report in timesofindia.com. The couple flew to Chennai in March 2020 and stayed in a live-in relationship for the two months of lockdown before deciding to get married. The wedding took place at Prabhudheva's residence in the city and was attended only by a few people close to the couple.
His earlier marriage to Ramlatha ended in divorce amid rumours linking him to actress Nayantharaa. He has three sons from his previous marriage.
Work wise, Prabhu Deva has worked as a director for multiple films like Dabangg 3, Wanted, Rowdy Rathore and many more.
