The film Adipurush, directed by Om Raut is hitting the theaters this week on 16th June. There are high expectations for the film’s box office performance. Even before the film’s theatrical release, Adipurush has secured its OTT partner and release date.
Amazon Prime Video has secured the digital rights to the movie and is said to have signed a post-release agreement for eight weeks.
Accordingly, Adipurush will be available on OTT only eight weeks after its theatrical release. In this regard, it is likely that the film will be available on over-the-top services on August 2nd. A large number of people are involved in the production of Adipurush, including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles.
Adipurush, adapted from the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, is an upcoming mythological film produced by T-Series and Retrophiles and made on a budget of 500 crores.
The film stars Prabhas as Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Lakshman, and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman. Ajay-Atul composed the music for the film.
