Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal has announced retirement from international cricket before World Cup.
He came up with the decision at a press conference at a hotel in Chattogram on Thursday.
Tamim Iqbal has taken the decision after facing a defeat from Afghanistan on Wednesday.
“This is the end for me. I am retiring from international cricket from now,” Tamim said.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh captain was emotional and in tears while announcing his retirement.
