Update : 28 Dec 2021, 00:17

Can you remember the life before Google? What do you do when you suddenly need to find information about something? Google searches an average of 63,000 different topics per second. Which is 5.7 billion daily and 2 trillion different things are searched on Google every year.

When you search for something on Google, it finds out a little about your personal likes-dislikes and habits. How much do you know about Google? Here is some information about Google which may surprise you!

Origin of Google name from misspellings: You may want to know what Google name means. In fact, it makes no sense. The name Google actually comes from a misspelling of the mathematical calculation google - which means 100 zeros on the back of 1.

There is a story that says an engineer or student wrote this misspelling instead of the real name. That wrong name comes in front of the whole world. What happened next is history!

Google is the best friend: Everyone who works at Google, can bring their own dog. However, it must be ensured that they are trained properly. Free meals for employees: Google is the first major technology company to offer free meals to its employees. The Google office always has something to eat. According to Forbes, Google's father Sergei Brin, initially decided that Google's office would never be more than 60 meters away from the food store.

Google's Founders Didn't Find a Buyer to Sell: In 1999, Larry and Sergey tried to sell Google for 1 million USD. But there were no customers to buy it. There was no customer even after reducing the price. Now, Google has a net worth of 300 billion. Some may now regret missing out on that opportunity.

Google's Goat: Google has always said it is for green initiatives. Google is headquartered in California and has a lot of green space inside. Lawn-mower machines are not used for mowing here. For this, Google hires goats from outside. If you ever go there, you will see about 200 goats roaming around and eating grass and keeping the lawn in good condition.

Doodle: Google Doodle is an artistic logo used by Google to commemorate a special day, special event, achievement or the birth-death anniversary of a famous person. The first Google Doodle was launched on August 30, 1997. It was launched with the help of out-of-office messaging. The idea first came to Larry and Sergei when they went to a festival in Nevada. The founders of Google thought they would explain why they were absent from the office. Doodles have become a Google tradition ever since.
