Shabnur is one of the most popular actresses of Bangladeshi film industry was admitted to a hospital in Australia's Sydney on Wednesday with coronavirus infection.
Jhumur, the actress's sister, confirmed the news to the press. She said that Shabnur had been suffering from a fever for the last week and had tested positive for COVID-19 as a result.
Shabnur has been isolating herself at home since contracting the virus but yesterday she was taken to a hospital after her condition worsened.
The actress has been absent from the silver screen for quite a while now. She now lives in Australia with her son, mother and sister. Dhallywood queen won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the film Dui Noyoner Alo.
