Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday said the war in Gaza would not end any time soon.
"We are in a tough war. It will be a long war. We have important achievements in it but also painful losses," Netanyahu said.
The Israeli leader also mourned the losses Israeli forces have incurred since Israel declared war on the Hamas militant group after its large-scale terror attacks on southern Israel on October 7.
"We will continue until we fulfill the mission — we will continue until victory," Netanyahu said.
