Actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila, who is popular in Kolkata and Bangladesh has tested positive for COVID-19. She contracted Covid-19 after her husband and daughter.
Mithila confirmed the news on Saturday (January 8) afternoon, saying she had been experiencing symptoms for a few days. Her report came positive on Friday after testing COVID-sample on Thursday.
Her husband Director Srijit Mukherji has tested positive for COVID-19 on January 1 and he is being treated at home. After that her daughter Ayra Tehreem Khan contracted the virus.
Mithila is now separated herself from her husband and daughter and stated that she is currently suffering from only a "mild cold and cough."
The actress asked prayers for her and her family's quick recovery and requested everyone to wear masks, avoid crowds and stay safe.
