Pakistan election results: PTI, PML-N claim lead

The Election Commission of Pakistan has so far announced 37 out of 266 results since polls closed more than 17 hours ago. Polls in one of the constituencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have been postponed.

PPP, PMLN and independent candidates affiliated with PTI are neck-and-neck based on early results. Party of the jailed former PM Imran Khan urged supporters to stay put at polling stations to prevent alleged vote manipulation.

So far 12 seats going to PTI-linked candidates. On the other hand Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) PML-N win 14 seats. 

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) appeared to be doing better than expected, with leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari saying early results were "very encouraging". Till now PPP win 9 seats and others get two seats.
