A fire was brought under control 25 minutes after it broke out at a building in Dhaka's Banani area this afternoon.
The fire started in the building located on Road 4 in Chairman Bari areaaround 2:40 pm on Thursday, said Rozina Parvin, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Later Rafi Al Faruk, duty officer of Fire Service Control room said that one fire engine worked and brought the fire under control at 3:05pm.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
