A Robotics workshop is being organized by Lightshore girls in ICT and BDRF in collaboration with Pushpokoli School. Every year on April 25th, girls & ICT day is celebrated.
To commemorate the occasion Girls in ICT and encourage girls to pursue technology, a workshop entitled Exploring the World of Robotics was held. The workshop encourages girls to have fun while learning technology and problem-solving skills.
There were 18 girls students engaged in the workshop. The workshop's main goal was to provide girls the necessary early exposure to technology so that the idea would be ingrained in them. The focus was on how to solve problems using technology appropriately for the younger generation. They were inspired to use technology and exercise critical thought by this course.
We missed the Fourth Industrial revolution but we don't want to miss again the 5th Industrial revolution where robotics will play a key role, said Hafizul Imran, Founder Bangladesh Robotics Foundation. Participants were offered an interactive experience that introduces them to the dynamic fields of Arduino programming, basic electronics, and robots.
Through interactive lectures and captivating hands-on exercises, students explored basic topics such as DC motor management, buzzer sound creation, and LED control. We anticipate that girls will enjoy themselves greatly and be thrilled to take away a wealth of
new knowledge from this workshop.
Sultana Razia, Founder, Lightshore Network added " Recognizing the disparities revealed in recent study, Lightshore is dedicated to amplifying girls in ICT; engagement in STEM fields.
This event was supported by Volunteer Opportunities, the Youth Partner was JCI Dhaka Founders, and Ittefaq was Media partner.
